There are certain key gadgets that every wine drinker should have on hand, I'd love to hear about your favorites in the comments! These are just a few of mine and ways you can find them.

1) The perfect bottle opener is # 1 for me. If you can't get your wine open, you're out of luck! I have tried many kinds of openers, but the one I always fall back on is the good old fashioned winged corkscrew. Easy to use, works great, and it reminds me of a happy friend waving at me!

2) The glass! Who knew there were so many different types of wine glasses? Of course there are white, red, and champagne glasses, but I had no idea there were so many glasses for different types of wines! A cabernet glass, a merlot glass! What?

I am content with a good multi purpose glass, and for those of us with dogs, kids, or generally busy lives, I recommend Stemless! Check out these beauties! Less likely to break when life gets busy. These are fun and very practical, and there is nothing wrong with stemless!

3) Aerators – ok these are fun and they make your reds taste MUCH better. It is important to decant your reds, some need more time to breath than others. This aerator is really fun to use and does the trick if you don't have a decanter on hand.

4) The wine stopper – also an important tool. If you don’t finish your bottle of wine, you don’t want it to spoil! What a waste! Well….look no further. This inexpensive tool works great to hold your wine a day or two. I have this one and it is GREAT! Not only inexpensive, but it works!! This would be a great hostess gift too!

5) Wine Tote! Where I live we can bring our own wine to most restaurants without a corking fee! Many establishments in NJ don't have a liquor license so we have to bring out own! Wine totes come in handy, not only for going out to eat, but also when heading over to a friend's house! Having a tote is much easier than tucking the wine under your armpit while balancing everything else you brought! Check these out! Wine Tote

These are just a few of my favorite things when it comes to wine. I'm sure there are many more in your arsenal! I'd love to hear about them! Send me your favorites and I'll give them a try!
